Brigadier General (Retired) Professor Dr. Md. Sajjadur Rahman is a highly respected Psychiatrist with decades of experience in mental health care, medical education, and clinical leadership. He completed his MBBS before earning FCPS in Psychiatry, establishing a strong academic foundation in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders. Throughout his distinguished career, he has served as Professor and Head of the Department of Psychiatry at the Armed Forces Medical College, Dhaka, where he played a significant role in educating future psychiatrists and advancing psychiatric practice in Bangladesh. He has also served as an Advisor Specialist in Psychiatry at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka, providing expert psychiatric consultation to patients with a wide range of emotional and psychological conditions.
