Dr. Mohammad Asaduzzaman

Dr. Mohammad Asaduzzaman is a Consultant in Critical Care Medicine, working in the Critical Care Unit. He holds MBBS and MD in Critical Care Medicine. He completed his MBBS from CMC in 2005 and earned his MD from BIRDEM in January 2016. His professional journey has remained closely connected with intensive care practice.

Dr. Asaduzzaman comes from Kushtia, Bangladesh. During his childhood, he lived in Dhaka and Narayanganj because of his father's professional commitments. After completing his medical education, he chose critical care as his area of specialization, focusing on patients whose conditions require continuous monitoring and advanced medical support.

Critically ill patients often need rapid assessment and coordinated treatment. ICU care may involve close observation of breathing, circulation, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and organ function. Severe infections, respiratory complications, post-operative problems, and other acute conditions can require this level of supervision.

His work became particularly significant during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Asaduzzaman was actively involved in managing critically ill COVID patients in the ICU. This experience placed him in a demanding clinical environment where timely decisions and careful monitoring were essential.

Following his MD in Critical Care Medicine, he has dedicated his career to intensive care services. His academic training and hands-on experience form the foundation of his work with critically ill patients.
