Dr. Rehnuma Sadia Siddiqua

Dr. Rehnuma Sadia Siddiqua is a highly trained ophthalmologist specializing in cornea, refractive, and anterior segment surgery. She completed her MBBS in 2015 from the National Institute of Ophthalmology & Hospital, building a strong foundation in medical sciences and clinical eye care. To advance her expertise, she pursued postgraduate qualifications from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS), earning MCPS in Ophthalmology in 2023 and FCPS in Ophthalmology in 2024. These qualifications reflect her dedication to achieving excellence in specialized eye care. Further strengthening her skills, Dr. Siddiqua completed a long-term fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at Vision Eye Institute Hospital (VEIH). She also received international training through an advanced corneal surgery course in Singapore, where she gained exposure to modern surgical techniques and global standards in ophthalmology. Her area of expertise includes cataract surgery using phacoemulsification, LASIK and other laser vision correction procedures, ICL/IPCL implantation, collagen cross-linking (CXL/C3R), and corneal transplant surgery. She is particularly skilled in managing complex corneal diseases and providing customized treatment plans to improve patients’ vision and quality of life. Currently, Dr. Siddiqua serves as an Assistant Professor at Popular Medical College and Hospital, where she contributes to medical education and the development of future doctors. In addition, she works as a Consultant and Surgeon in the Cornea and Refractive Surgery Department at Vision Eye Hospital, actively providing advanced clinical care. Dr. Siddiqua is also a member of the Cornea Society, which reflects her commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in her field.
