Maj. Gen. Professor Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam (Retd)

Maj. Gen. Prof. Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam (Retd.) is a Urology Surgeon with MBBS, MCPS and FCPS qualifications in Surgery, along with FCPS in Urology. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and has received additional urology training in India, Pakistan, Germany and the USA. His career includes service with the Bangladesh Army Medical Corps and leadership as Professor and Head of Urology at Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka. His current work as Senior Consultant in Urology at Universal Medical College & Hospital Ltd. covers kidney, urinary bladder, prostate and male reproductive conditions. Kidney stones, enlarged prostate and bladder problems are among the common cases. Some patients come with difficulty passing urine.
