Half of them probably looking at their phones. He just reads from the slides. Explains how the bladder works. Up in the operating theater it is mostly endoscopic stuff. No big cuts. Just sliding a camera up there. He looks at a monitor mounted on a metal arm. The screen shows pink tissue and water bubbles. They use a lot of saline bags for these cases. Empty plastic pouches piling up in the corner bin. He shaves away enlarged prostates piece by piece. Takes maybe an hour. Depends on the size. The junior doctors watch him work. He tells them to adjust the camera focus. Sometimes the water gets on his shoes. He probably wears those heavy green rubber boots. He finishes up. Takes off the gown. Goes to the sink. Washes his hands.
