Dr. Ziaul Morshed

Dr Ziaul Morshed is an Assistant Professor in the ENT department. Got his MBBS and a DLO. That diploma means he specializes in ear, nose, and throat stuff. Since he is an assistant professor, he probably spends his mornings taking classes or doing ward rounds with medical students. A bunch of young doctors trailing behind him. Then he comes to his private chamber in the evening. The waiting room is usually noisy. People clearing their throats. Kids with ear infections crying. He sits at his desk. Has that round mirror strapped to his head. The one with the hole in the middle. Just a standard ENT doctor setup. A tray of metal instruments next to him.

Patients come in complaining about blocked ears or sinus headaches. Happens a lot when the weather changes anyway. He asks them to sit still. Shines a light into their ear canal. Sometimes he has to syringe out ear wax. Just uses a big metal syringe and warm water. Pretty messy but it works. Or he checks their vocal cords if their voice is hoarse. Tells them to stop drinking cold water from the fridge. Maybe avoid dust. Writes down some antihistamines and a nasal spray on his pad. The handwriting is quick. He tears the page off. Tells them to come back if the pain does not stop. Hands it over. Then the assistant sends the next person in.
