Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery is the largest specialized burn and plastic surgery institute in Bangladesh, located at 63, AHM Kamruzzaman Sharani, Chankharpul, Dhaka 1000. Established to provide advanced treatment for burn injuries and reconstructive surgery, the institute serves patients from every region of the country. It is recognized as a national referral center where people with minor to life threatening burn injuries receive specialized medical care from experienced surgeons and healthcare professionals. The institute also plays an important role in medical education, research, and the development of modern burn management techniques. With its advanced infrastructure and dedicated clinical teams, it has become one of the most important healthcare institutions in Bangladesh for burn care and plastic surgery.
The institute operates its own diagnostic facilities to support accurate evaluation and timely treatment of patients. It has a capacity of 500 beds and is equipped with 22 intensive care unit beds and 22 high dependency unit facilities to provide specialized care for critically ill burn patients.
